BECAUSE GOOD FOOD MATTERS

Hello friends!

I would like to start off by thanking all our customers for your support. As of now we are 100% funded and supported by you. We sell directly to the customer, no middle man. We believe this is the best way to insure a quality product, and to keep farmers accountable. We encourage our customers to come visit the farm and see the animals and our system of taking care of them. This will be our sixth season raising animals for meat. The reason we decided to venture into farming was out of passion and conviction. We believe that there is a sustainable way to steward the land and raise animals. Our goal is to produce a product that is honoring to the animal, heals the land, does not pollute waterways & to provide meat that is full of nutrients and vitamins. Green grass and leaves are major sources of Omega-3 fats in animal diets – these are foods available to truly pastured animals, but not to “free-range” animals that really live in barns.

Healthy Living Farm is not just a business to us, we are dedicated and committed to living green and eating clean ourselves. We enjoy cooking our meals from scratch, we stay away from processed foods the best we can. We avoid the consumption of genetically modified foods and foods that are not organic. We love to garden and eat fresh fruits, and veggies. Check out our YouTube channel for some of our Homesteading videos. “Healthy Living Homestead” be sure to like & subscribe to our channel to get to see all of our educational videos.

We encourage our customers to keep in mind that, for the most part our animals are seasonal products. Raising animals seasonally for meat is less stress on the land, the animal, and produces a healthier and excellent quality animal overall. Fill your freezer during the harvest season, the meat will keep well in the freezer for a year or more. We suggest getting enough meat to last you and your family for the whole year. Before there were freezers, it was common practice in all cultures to preserve all foods with oil, vinegar, and salt. Thankfully today we have freezers.

The best price we can offer you is when you pick up your meat order fresh, packaged on the day of processing. Another way is to buy a Whole/Half Cow or Pig. If you don’t have freezer space for a large quantity, we have meat available frozen in our farm store as well.

We are so thankful for all of you who appreciate the quality of our meats that we raise. Farming is not easy, but we enjoy the farm life and are proud of the hard work put into our product.

Thank you
